i dont know how to start. i felt like i was flying through space all night long. there were no planets around, only nebulas and stars and sonic destruction all around me. theres no sound in space but i was wearing a space helmet with amplified stacks inside it reverberating my freaking souls bones.... in space. they played at least 7 new songs that were amazing, they duct tape all their guitars and basses (an sg a mustang and some fender type bass) so they look all shimmery and shiny and spacey. they distort the fuck out of everything its amazing. carla azar,
(giovanni ribisi you are not cool) will you marry me. you are so beautiful. you bang those drums so hard. so hard. so hard. she looks like the kinda girl who doesnt give a fuck about anything and would hate fuck the shit out of you just cause she hates the world so much and youre the only one around that will take the abuse..... shes kind of a gothy spacey lookin kind of woman. she even wore a dress that shimmered like something out of the original series of star trek. did i mention space? she probably doesnt hate the world but she definitely hit those drums harder than a fucking drunk dad hits their kids and she might even pull a waterboy 
and picture someone that bugs her on the drums. all of this speculation. i hope this doesnt stop you from loving me forever carla. i actually hope youre really sweet and down to earth and the talent you have playing the drums pales in comparison to the amount of fun were going to have together forever.... wait ummmm.yea so autolux... see them if you have the chance, theyre also going to be or have already been on nigel godrich's show in the basement, so try and tivo that shit cuz those shows are always off the hook

they got a new album comin out soon the first since 2004, last time i checked they didnt even have a label or a name for the album and the album is done and theyre shooting for a summer release. in a billboard article (http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003694091) carla says about said album "It's like Dylan Thomas and Stephen Hawking mixed together." sick.
if you like autolux you probably would like the now defunct band failure as well cause they get spacey and the guitarist/bassist for them is in autolux as well. wheres ken andrews these days?
